What Should Your Wedding Tables Include

We’ve recently talked about the perfect centerpieces and why you should use charger plates, but what else should be on your wedding table? From flatware to flutes, here’s a rundown of what you’ll need.

This is all the utensils your guests will need. Depending on the type of meal you serve, this could include multiple sets of forks, spoons, and knives. This is separate from servingware, which you’ll need for dishing up food in a buffet or family service style meal.

Glassware and stemware

Glassware includes drinking glasses such as tumblers for water. Stemware is the wine glasses and champagne flutes. You can serve water in stemware, but should never serve wine and champage in glassware.

China tableware

This is also referred to as crockery and includes plates, bowls, and mugs. The pieces you need will depend on your menu choices. You should remember plates for side items like bread, too. For the most formal weddings, look for a style that reflects this with a gold trim.

You don’t need to go out and buy any of this, though. A Nashville rental company will offer all this and more for your wedding table. To find out more about what we offer, give us a call today!
